DESCRIPTION: An exciting opportunity is available for a creative and strategic thinking individual to be the Givens Communities HR Director. The HR Director will develop organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues, contributing information, analysis, recommendations and direction for Givens. The HR director will provide leadership to HR Team and Communities, lead the organization in retention initiatives, serve as the organization’s Corporate Compliance Officer, ensure policies are updated on a routine basis, maintain the organization’s compensation process, manage the health insurance plan and other benefits, track and report organizational HR metrics, and represent the organization in the community and at labor hearings or legal proceedings. The HR Director will oversee the corrective action and counseling process to ensure consistency across entities, the maintenance of personnel records, the utilization of HR technologies, organizational inclusion and training, communications to all team members, the onboarding process, the organization’s training and professional development plan, the team member appreciation activities, and the organizations recruiting initiatives. The HR Director will work closely with the Executive team to communicate the organization’s culture to all team members and provide consistency to each campus.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate must be able to show initiative within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and be able to multi-task, while providing exemplary customer service. The preferred candidate must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with course studies in human resources, business administration, public health, or related fields and have obtained the certification designation as PHR through either HRCI or SHRM. Preferred candidate must have, as a minimum, three to five years previous experience in a human resources supervisor or manager related position.
