We are actively recruiting our part-time activities (recreational therapy) assistant! The primary purpose of this position, is to help plan and develop a diversified monthly calendar of recreation therapy that respond to residents’ spiritual, emotional, intellectual, social, vocational and physical needs with resident input and input from their families. The primary function of this position is to meet the wellness needs of residents identified during the assessment process. Incumbent will attend and support activities for residents. Candidate must have a valid NC Driver License with clear driving record for use of facility vehicles, including the 15 passenger wheelchair accessible bus; a Bachelors in Therapeutic Recreation with CTRS Certification is desired while not required; and experience with older adult population is preferred.
