Thanksgiving Day

There's nothing quite like this joyous time of the year and being with loved ones with the smell of a Thanksgiving meal wafting in the air.  This year, we had 234 people (exactly 117 guests and 117 residents!) who joined together for fellowship and a glorious meal prepared by our talented Executive Chef and Dining Staff.  The elegant menu included innovative twists on old favorites, with plenty of local and fresh ingredients which provided the highest quality and a variety of healthy options, and a few not so healthy ones.  Please see the menu below

Everyone had a wonderful time and showed appreciation for the time and energy of the staff who made this glorious meal such a success.  Folks are still raving about it!

Oven Roasted Garlic Thyme Turkey w/ Sea Salt, Cracked Pepper and Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Honey Clove & Pineapple Glazed Smithfield Virginia Ham

Cornbread Sage Stuffing w/ House made Gravy

Yukon Gold Roasted Mashed Potatoes w/ Fresh Chives

Green Bean Casserole w/ Fried Onions

Honey Bourbon Pecan Sweet Potatoes

Cranberry Orange Relish

Homemade Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie and Warm Cherry Crisp
